Franatee Language Scenarios

This is the spiritual successor to "Learn French with Frances", only now we're learning a lot more languages than just French. Granted, none of the scenarios covered seem very common at first, but Franatee and her friends sure find some of the phrases taught useful - maybe you will, too!

Encyclopedia Tincannica

The natural evolution of "Fransplaining" - now heavily inspired by mid-20th century educational films. This series imparts half-remembered facts about a variety of topics, such as might be heard and misconstrued through the string between two tin cans. This is not a study in anti-intellectualism; rather it relies on the viewer to discern fact from fiction so they can feel super-smart for having paid attention during European History class.

An Evening with Antonia Dale

Clips from a documentary about the greatest actress from Hollywood's golden age that nobody has ever heard of for some reason. This series of interviews was recorded in 1985, but the documentary couldn't be released until 2002 due to a lengthy legal dispute with RDP Studios who still owns most of the copyrights to Dale's work, despite no longer producing movies and instead builds and ships industrial punch press machines.

Carol's Craft Corner

Everyone's favorite off-kilter crafter who makes items of dubious value - but nobody can deny that they exist! While crafting, Carol often expounds on her troubles with her neighbor, her gambling debt, or her shopping adventures with Ma.

Penny Detective Stories

You remember Penny the 1920s Lady Detective with the Haircut All Lady Detectives Have? Well, she's back with a shorter title but the same bob. And she's a drawing now. But other than that, same exact concept, solving crimes and being in the Roaring 20s. Fashions inspired by or directly taken from contemporary costuming genius Erté.

Stacked Deck!

The only vintage soap opera based on a standard 52 card deck is back, but this time with much more beautiful faces on the screen. Living in a small world built around games - both physical and mental - the characters and plots are almost too hard to keep track of. Especially for the writers.

Eye Spies

Follow the adventures of a spy agency tasked with defeating a nebulous enemy who always seems to be one step ahead. Who are the Eye Spies? Do they have allegiance to one government? Are they the good guys or the bad guys? Does their equipment actually work because it appears to be made of cardboard? Surely there is more to this story than meets the...well, you know.

The Real News

Susan Surandon (not that one) is out of jail for criminally negligent newsanchorcide and back in front of a camera bringing the residents of Anyware very specific and plot relevant news. And she's just as snarky as ever.

Art Probe mit Alva Vague

While Alva will always offer insights into your relationship with paintings, in Nobody's Home she provides criticism of art and the art world in general. But fear not, her acuity in excising cosmis truths from seemingly unimportant details will leaving you feeling unsettle yet fulfilled just as it always has.

The Paper Dolls Players

A versatile troupe of actors, they can convincingly portray any movie, TV show, commercial or closed-circuit TV instructional video you can think of. From westerns to the Cardstock Cabaret, they can and probably will do it all because I'm too lazy to draw anything else or put on make up and a wig to do it myself. And that's called an artistic choice, BTW.
